Homelessness Isn’t A Game, But One Thirteen-Year-Old Makes Sure It Can Still Be FunThe Hunger Site
Helping the homeless does not always have to be a somber exercise. It can be fun and games too. Thirteen-year-old Caleb White has been doing just that by organizing a “game night” for homeless kids and their mothers since he was 6 years old. Game night is all about games and pizza and soda and sharing with kids who do not get to have a lot of fun.
Kids from lower-income backgrounds are often deprived of things that other kids can take for granted-like nutritious food at home. Donate to this campaign that ensures that kids on food support via the National School Lunch Program do not have to go hungry during school breaks.
